This transgressive impulse towards the non-established forms part of Klangforum Wien\u2019s backbone.<\/p>\n<p>The NYKY Ensemble performs the work &#8220;The Harvest&#8221; by Finnish composer Ville Raasakka and the work &#8220;Bird of Paradise&#8221; together with Klangforum Wien.<\/p>\n<p>The concert from our cycle series PRO\u00a9ESSION takes place at two times: <strong>6:00 p.m. + <a href=\"https:\/\/alt2.klangforum.at\/en\/kalender\/hy-cotyl-neo-contemporary-2\/\">8:30 p.m<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Between the concerts \u2014 <strong>FERMATE<\/strong><br \/>\nIn our new discussion format, personalities from various disciplines, together with artists and musicians, question what they have just heard.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>About the NYKY Ensemble<br \/>\n<\/strong>NYKY Ensemble is a contemporary music group at the Sibelius Academy of the University of the Arts Helsinki.\u00a0 NYKY Ensemble is a forum for contemporary music projects and a window for students into contemporary music trends and techniques, such as for example extended playing techniques, live electronics, microtonality, minimalism or interdisciplinary collaborations. The instrumentation of the ensemble varies depending on the programme performed, and for each concert period the ensemble is coached by a visiting musician or ensemble specialized in contemporary music.<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.uniarts.fi\/yksikot\/nyky-ensemble\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">www.uniarts.fi<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The co-operation of NYKY Ensemble with Klangforum Wien is part of the International Visitor Programme launched at the Sibelius Academy, University of the Arts Helsinki in 2019. It complements the regular bachelor\u2019s and master\u2019s studies offered by the Sibelius Academy by inviting artists who represent the highest talent level of their respective fields to come and teach in Finland. The distinguished visiting artists work alongside students and teachers at the Sibelius Academy mainly in periods of one year or two years at a time.<\/p>\n<div class=\"\">\n<div
