In cooperation with the Adam Mickiewicz Institute, Klangforum Wien presents its new project – an exclusive CD box set with recordings of New Music, written by four leading Polish composers. From mid-November, the special edition will be available for €40 exclusively in the Klangforum Wien shop.
Polish Perspectives highlights various different aspects of the contemporary Polish New Music scene, attesting to its unique vitality. You’ll encounter distinctive compositions of the highest quality, bearing the hallmarks of very diverse aesthetic approaches, manifesting what is new in music with particular vividness.
The CD-box includes works by Marcin Stańzyk, Cezary Duchnowski, Aleksandra Grykaand Wojciech Blazejczyk.
For this four-part CD box set, Klangforum Wien has recorded a total of 19 works by four composers. Each CD is accompanied by a booklet introducing the participating artists and the works. This project of Klangforum Wien was realised with the kind support of the Polish Ministry of Culture, National Heritage and Sports.
The box is available as a special edition exclusively in the Klangforum Wien shop.

The project is organised by the Adam Mickiewicz Institute as part of the international cultural programme marking the centenary of Poland’s regained independence.
