Fromm Players concerts feature performances of works by living and influential composers, performed by professional ensembles dedicated to the performance of contemporary music. This year’s event features two large-scale works by Enno Poppe and Chaya Czernowin, two of the most adventurous and influential composers of our time. Klangforum Wien plays Enno Poppe’s Procession and Chaya Czernowin’s The Fabrication of Light. The works take us into their own universe for about an hour each. The superimposition of the two pieces is a provocative proposition.
