DESCRIPTION:Programme change: The Fabrication of Light \n   March 13\,\n18.00 - \n19.30 \n Wiener Konzerthaus\, Mozart-Saal\, Vienna\, Austria \nEmilio Pomàrico\, a loyal and influential companion and conductor of Klangforum Wien for many years\, has composed a new work. It is a concert with an introduction\, metamorphoses and coda for the 24 soloists of the Klangforum Wien – tailor-made for the ensemble and highly virtuosic. The artistic director’s plan to adequately and uncompromisingly develop this challenging work in the context of a highly condensed work schedule was too ambitious; Therefore\, together with the composer and conductor Pomàrico\, it was decided to postpone the program of the fifth concert cycle to the next season in order to be able to meet the quality requirements of the audience and the ensemble without a doubt. \nInstead\, on March 13\, 2023\, a transatlantic postcard will be heard: with THE FABRICATION OF LIGHT by Chaya Czernowin\, Klangforum Wien and conductor Johannes Kalitzke will present the core piece from the debut concert at Harvard University in Cambridge (7 February 2023). \nThe concert from our cycle series BRUCH.PUNKT will take place at two starting times: 6:00 pm + 8:30 pm. \nBetween the concerts – FERMATE\nIn our new conversation format\, personalities from various disciplines together with artists and musicians question what they have just heard. \nFermate starts at 7:30 pm. \nGet your ticket hereWebsite EventChaya Czernowin \nThe Fabrication of Light (2020) (EA) \nJohannes Kalitzke \nChaya Czernowin
