The new format Prague Offspring, which takes place as part of the Prague Spring Festival, is entirely dedicated to contemporary music. Over a period of two days, the DOX + Center for Contemporary Art comes to life and presents the latest from the international and local contemporary scene. Klangforum Wien accompanies the format and acts as an “ensemble-in-residence”.

The first concert on the program begins with the music of “composer-in-residence” Olga Neuwirth. Klangforum Wien is playing two of her works – a composition for the piano “incidendo / fluido” and her masterpiece for trumpet and ensemble “… miramondo multiplo…”. In addition, works by the composers Martin Smolka and Clara Iannotta can be heard.
