As recently with the meta-opera Amopera, Klangforum Wien explores new forms of musical theater. At the Wiener Festwochen 2023, musicians of the ensemble, directed by Toshiki Okada, together with the performers of his company chelfitsch, will bring Dai Fujikura’s composition to the stage. The spoken language of theater and the music are placed in a new relationship. Both levels of expression enter a dialogue and invent a new vocabulary of musical theater.

At the center of the story is a family about to lose their apartment. In this already turbulent situation, an undefined power enters the situation and takes over their fate.
